Terms of Service
In plain words. Play the game, have fun, don't cheat or break it. Gold is a one-time purchase of in-game content, not money — it can't be cashed out. Merchandise is sold and shipped by us. We do our best, but the game is provided as it is.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Nuvo Energy Global Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of World Game. They cover the website at worldboardgame.com, the World Game and World Game Gold applications, and the World Game shop (together, "the Service").
1. Accepting these Terms
By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for them.
2. Who can use the Service
World Game is a family game and children are welcome to play. However:
- You must be at least 13 years old to sign in with a Google account. Younger players are welcome to play as a guest.
- You must be 18 or older to create a shop account and buy merchandise, or be a parent or guardian creating and supervising the account on a child's behalf.
- If you are under 18, you may otherwise use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for purchases made on their devices or through their payment methods.
3. Your licence to play
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and play World Game for your own private, non-commercial entertainment. That licence does not transfer ownership of anything to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, tamper with saved data, or use bots, scripts, modified clients or automation to gain an advantage;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute any part of the Service, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or another player's data;
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to upload or transmit anything unlawful, infringing, hateful, obscene or harmful;
- Impersonate anyone, or choose a display name intended to deceive or offend;
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice.
5. Sign-in and guest play
You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google to personalise your experience. Game progress is stored in your browser or app on the device you played on.
Game progress does not transfer between devices, and clearing your browser or app data will permanently erase it. We cannot recover lost progress.
Buying merchandise requires a shop account, which is held on our servers and keeps your delivery address and order history. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account, and you agree to give accurate details and keep them up to date. Tell us promptly at nuvoenergyglobal@gmail.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account used in breach of these Terms.
6. World Game Gold and virtual items
What Gold is
World Game Gold is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional in-game content — collectible avatars, premium board themes, smarter opponents, and an ad-free experience. Gold is a licence to use that content, not a transfer of ownership.
How Gold is bought and refunded
Gold is purchased through Google Play. That transaction is between you and Google and is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy, and you should make any refund request there. Where a web purchase is offered instead, it is processed by a third-party payment provider under that provider's terms, and we will consider refund requests in line with applicable consumer law.
Virtual items have no real-world value
Any in-game currency, gems, rewards or items — however obtained, including through in-game features such as spins or in-game markets — are virtual, have no monetary value, are not your property, and cannot be sold, traded outside the game, transferred between accounts, exchanged for real money, or redeemed for anything of value. No in-game feature constitutes gambling: nothing in the game can be bought with real money for a chance at a real-money prize, and no in-game item can be cashed out.
We may change, rebalance, or discontinue virtual items and game features as the game develops. We will not remove the core content you have paid for while the Service remains available.
7. The shop, artwork and delivery
The World Game shop sells personalised physical merchandise. Orders are placed through your shop account and paid via Razorpay, which handles payment on its own secure page; we never receive your card or UPI details. Orders are accepted only when we confirm them. Prices, availability and shipping estimates are indicative and may change before an order is confirmed. Taxes and duties are applied at checkout or on import, as applicable.
Artwork you supply
If you supply custom artwork, text or images for a personalised product, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. You grant us a limited licence to reproduce and use it solely to produce and deliver your order. We may decline or cancel any order containing material that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, obscene, or that we reasonably consider unsuitable, and will refund you if we do.
Returns
Personalised items are made to order and generally cannot be returned unless they are faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. This does not affect your statutory rights. Contact us at nuvoenergyglobal@gmail.com within a reasonable time of delivery if something is wrong and we will put it right.
8. Intellectual property
World Game — including the game, its artwork, avatars, characters, board designs, music, text, software and the World Game name and logo — is owned by Nuvo Energy Global Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.
You keep ownership of artwork you supply to the shop, subject to the limited licence in section 7. If you believe something on the Service infringes your rights, write to us at nuvoenergyglobal@gmail.com with details and we will investigate promptly.
9. Third-party services
The Service uses and links to third-party services including Google Sign-In, Google Play, Google Fonts, YouTube and payment providers, and links to social media pages. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. World Game is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and may update these Terms as the Service changes. The effective date at the top reflects the current version; material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected, or that stored game progress will be preserved.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under applicable consumer protection law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or game progress, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, whether based in contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 1,000.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nuvo Energy Global Private Limited, its directors, officers and employees from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or any artwork or content you supply.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time — sign out, clear your data, or uninstall the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably suspect unlawful or harmful use. Sections 8, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16 survive termination.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

16. General
- Entire agreement — these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Severability — if any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver — not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment — you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
